With Audible there are several different options for uploading your recording. When I was uploading my audiobook I had it in one big file and then I realized I needed to break it up into each chapter, so keep in mind you are going to be uploading a bunch of smaller files to the server. Which is good I suppose just in case one file goes bad you don’t have to redo the entire book.
You do not have to include all of the items on the list of things they give you. I put in a “The End” because I thought that is what you are supposed to do, but you don’t actually have to. You can use that for what ever you would like it to be. Like a promotion for your website that goes something like. “Thank you for listening, if you would like more information about me and my other work you can go to my website at www.joannaalbrecht.com.” In hindsite I would have added that instead. Take some time to listen to other audiobook and get a feel for what you like and maybe add it to yours.
